After the upload I did order a lot of prints and some posters and even a wide format poster. Snapfish was real fast. The upload was in the morning. On the same day I got an e-mail in the evening that my prints were processed and delivered. And really the next day in the morning the postman already brought my photo prints! That was less then 24 hours!
But with the posters I was another story. It took exactly eight calendar day until they arrived. And I was disappointed. From 12 ordered posters 4 were extremely dark. Not usable and not acceptable.
I took a picture with my camera and send an e-mail to snapfish customer support.

| Very dark posters - on the right side a good one |
The bigger one was of the size 60x40cm (24x16in). I think it is not a problem of the original file as on the computer monitor all of them looks bright. See here some examples:
Looks much brighter than the one I got as poster
Same comment as previous image.
After sending the e-mail with attached foto to customer support I got a reply within minutes that they are going to check and will report to me soon how to proceed.
After about another hour I got another e-mail telling me that I can just order the photos which were too dark and they will cancel then the bill for this new order.
Snapfish writes on their homepage that they take customer support and complains very serious. It looks like that this is true. I'm going now to order again the photos which were too dark and report here the out-coming of the whole story.

Just to let you know what happened:
ReplyDeleteI ordered the bad/dark photos again and paid with my credit card. After that the system sent me an order number. So I replied the customer support this number and they deducted the amount from my credit card. This I have to check as soon as the card statement arrives.
Within a few days I got my posters. This time they looked great and so I'm happy with the out-coming of the story.
